On Thursday 13th of September students from Grades Prep, 1 and 2 enjoyed a fantastic morning at Under 8s day hosted by Cooran State School. The students were also joined by parents, grandparents, community members and the local playgroup parents and children.
There was face painting, kite-making, pizza making, story-telling, arts and craft and games to play. The morning was a brilliant success with everyone having a fantastic time.
Geoff Edwards and Daryl Edmonds from Pomona Bendigo Bank branch joined in the activities and introduced the students to student banking. Piggy also made an appearance on the day much to the delight of the teachers, students and younger children.
Students also enthusiastically took part in the Bendigo Bank colouring in competition, with the winners to be on display at the Pomona branch of the Bendigo bank.
