Walk Safely to School Day

​Cooran students were out in force this morning as they Walked Safely to school. Stduents were joined by family members and even the odd pooch came along for the stroll. The 1km walk to school was a grwat way to not only start the day but to educate students about road safety.

Walk Safely to School Day (WSTSD) is an annual, national event when all Primary School children are encouraged to walk and commute safely to school. It is a Community Event seeking to promote Road Safety, Health, Public Transport and the Environment.
